Has anyone ever tried to get notification of PIP MR decisions sent by e-mail?

I am fed up with waiting for my PIP Mandatory Reconsideration and I was only two points short of getting the basic rate which I had been receiving for ten years. Has anyone ever tried to get notification of decisions to be sent by e-mail?
Using second post is archaic and unkind.

Patience is required whenever you deal with the DWP who have too few staff to work on too many claims.

I'm currently wring my MR after being 2 points short, which I feel should have been awarded. Would be great if you let us know how you get on.1

Using second post is archaic and unkind.DWP don't send anything via email. Text messages are sent throughout a claim, to let you know what's going on. However, decisions are never sent this way. For decisions they will tell you over the phone or you can wait for the letter. There's no timescales for decisions, it all depends on backlog in your area.Only 18% of MR decisions change, so you'll most likely end up having to take it to Tribunal.1
