Hi having been diagnosed on the autistic spectrum and also having mobility issues with age related to my diplegia I wonder what are my local authorities supposed to provide because I get none and asking is not something I find easy.

Hi,Unfortunately, they aren't supposed to provide you with anything. You can ask for a needs assessment from the social services and you can self refer for this.0

Hi @chattymossman, There ARE a number of services that your local authority are obliged to support you with. These support services will depend upon your age and your own specific medical needs and requirements. However, I do agree with poppy123456 that you should contact Social Services for an assessment, and if are unable to do this by yourself then ask your Dr/GP to arrange this for you.chattymossman said:Hi having been diagnosed on the autistic spectrum and also having mobility issues with age related to my diplegia I wonder what are my local authorities supposed to provide because I get none and asking is not something I find easy.
