Hi @len and welcome to the forum.
I am sorry to hear about your mum and I feel it must be so difficult when you have cared for someone for so long and then all of a sudden that is taken away. Yesterday being mothers day probably brought it all home for you and I am really sorry about that.
Have you thought about contacting support services in regard to your loss?

Cruse bereavement is a well-known support service for people in your situation.

I hope things improve for you and maybe have a look at the website and decide if you think it may be of use to you

    Good luck

Hi @len, I'm so sorry to hear of your loss, this must be a tough time for you. I hope you've found the links above helpful. CarersUK have a section of their website that talks about bereavement. It gives practical guidance on the steps after, which you may have already gone through, however, it may point in the right direction for further support and people to talk to.

    https://www.carersuk.org/help-and-advice/practical-support/when-caring-ends/bereavement

Also see below a link to the Carer Trust website, that also has a section on bereavement and has more guidance on support available.

    https://carers.org/article/coping-grief

I hope this helps and best wishes for the future.
