Cleaning Sports Wheelchairs

I’m a newbie when it comes to cleaning and making sure my wheelchair is in preparation for matches as next weekend I’ll be playing in my quarterfinals match in Sheffield. So any tips or advice would be appreciated. I know you can use just standard water and soap but want to check with others who are more experienced.
