I would advise a visit to your local advice centre for a full benefits check.

In addition to your SSP you may be entitled to a top up of Universal Credit but this depends entirely on your circumstances. The benefits calculator linked by Ami may give you some idea of help you could receive and your local Citizen's Advice  will be able to go through a full benefits check up with you.
