hi @fatherinpain, what have you been offered benepali for? my daughter injected it for ankylosing spondylitis but had to go back to her old drug as it made her ill... saying that i have rheumatoid arthritis and i am due to try benepali as my dmards no longer control my illness0

Hi yes I to have RA quite severe no response DMARDs so straight to biologics I have multiple flares a day and dr said it is out of control atm. Sorry to hear bout your daughter hope she feels better with old meds. When are you starting them?0

my daughter was on embrel which is a biological, the benepali is a biosimilar or cheaper version.. she's fine now she's back on the good stuff I am suppose to start it on the 14th of this month but i am going away on the 20th so my specialist nurse said to leave it till July, not looking forward to another injection to go along side my mtx, but if it works its worth it0

Fingers crossed for you both. How bad is your RA if you don’t mind me asking?0

it's quite bad.. it's a flare they say... hmm, iv'e never had a down day in 15 months i think they might be wrong.. i take you are the same if you are being given biologicals? it ain't funny is it such a cruel disease0

Multiple flares on a daily basis and quite often in the bigger joints which just ain’t no fun, still I’ve been given a Ealing stick to limp about with0

wish i could hold one to limp with ...feet like walking on broken glass.. hands now just one big swollen mess.. but we keep smiling and carry on ...

The more you do worse it is? I had a crown put in and low n behold had it in my jaw which was strange to say the least. I’ll hold of smiling just in case !!!0

ah it hasn't affected my jaw yet... think my partner wishes it had at times.. and as for doing i can't anymore so i don't .. good job i have a wonderful family to help0
