hi I am just wondering what our young adults do when they are unable to work and don’t want to socialise ? Do any of you have young adults that just want to be alone and at home ?

Hi @cass89102 welcome to the community! I am 24 and I am currently unable to work in an average shop so I volunteer online with Scope here on the communityDisability Gamechanger - 2019

Hi @cass89102 and a warm welcome to the community! Many of our community members enjoy reading, audio books and crafts (among other things). What would recommend?

Volunteering sounds great @cass89102! What kind of things were you thinking? I guess jobs would depend on the field they would like to go into. We do also have an employment board that you may find useful to look at

The problem is my son not only has physical disabilities but his anxiety etc mean he doesn’t like to socialise and is scared to leave home without family members so it would need to be a job from home ? He is receiving universal credit atm but we are wondering if he will ever manage to find employment
thank you
