ESA underpayment

Hi, Ive had a form to fill in in relation to me claiming Incapacity Benefit and moving onto ESA from 2011-2013, and that I might be due a back payment, At the time I was recieving ESA contribution Based and my partner was also from2011-212 he then moved onto ESA joint Income related, does anyone know if I would be due a payment or not ?

Hi,It will totally depend on your circumstances at the time. They are contacting everyone that transferred across, whether they are entitled to back money or not. Some haven't been entitled to anything.You'll need to wait for DWP to assess you and make a decision. This can take between 12-20 weeks.1
