Hi @needham1973 it can take up to or more than 4 weeks to receive a decision regarding Carer's Allowance, the length of waiting time can depend on or if there is a backlog of claims in your local area. Please keep us updated and let us know if you need any further help

Only been 4 weeks at moment since been waiting, Will do thank u ?

Hello if if you are claiming Housing benefits ect this will be stopped until you send in the official award notification letter for Carer’s allowance to the benefit provider, the benefits will be reinstated and no money lost it’s just a cash flow problem.
