I had the same thing last week it takes 10 working days for them to scan it onto the system. I gave them a call and told them when I posted it and was told to wait a few days and call again . Still no form so they sent me a duplicate form ......lo and behold next day got a we have received your form text0

Hi,Those sort of letters are automatically sent. It could be that it was sent before your form was added to the computer. When sending post to DWP it can take 10 days for it to be added to the system. Give them a quick ring to ask if the form's been received.0

I can't do it by myself and my keyworker is off this week0
-
Do you have anyone else that can ring for you? There's probably nothing to worry about and the letter most likely crossed with receiving the form. Letters from DWP can take a week to arrive to us because of the sorting process.

No I haven't but how long should I leave it for?0
-
Did the letter say they have given you an extra 14 day's to return it?0
-
Yes I have until Aug 30th until return it0
-
So you would still be within the time limit if you get your caseworker to ring next week, but I think you will probably get a text before then so try not to worry0

Keyworker not case worker0
-
How long should it take because I sent it two weeks ago0
-
They say 10 working days so that's 10 days not counting weekends mine took 11 working days0
-
What is 10 days from two weeks ago and the letter was sent on the 5th0
-
What date did you send the form?0
-
27th July0
-
Ok so 10 days was on Friday 9th so hopefully you will get text in next couple of days0
-
What if I dont0

Even though you have until the 30th of August to return the form the computer won't acknowledge this because it will just be a note on the computer saying you requested the extra 14 days. The automated letter will still be sent because the computer "thinks" that your return date is the 16th August. As you've sent the form well within the time frame of 30th August i'm sure it will arrive within plenty of time for that date.
