Hi there my husband got his award in April for three years so it doesn't end till 2022 but he got a claim form today so do you reckon this is a mistake they are saying if he doesn't fill it in by the 22nd September he will have his money stopped

Hi,Does he claim any other benefits like ESA? If so are you sure it's PIP review forms or is it a work capability assessment form?0

Hi @mckenzie68 and a warm welcome to the community! I hope this will be able to be clarified soon. Have you tired ringing them up?0
-
Hi chloe yes i rang them up at first he said thats a bit weird he put me on hold and hen told me they just do random checks and unfortunately even though we was awarded in May we still have to fill the form and send it back. so i told him well i am not going to have any more evidence as you have had all of my husband's letters and he isn't seeing the spinal specialist until the 9th September. The then asked when will we get a letter back from them so I said it could be between a month or two as you know what hospitals are like. He just told me to try and gather some evidence0

Hi poppy he doesn't get any other benefits he is on my income support as I am his carer and it is a pip claim form again. I still think they have made a mistake and they are trying to cover it even the man I spoke to was quite surprised we had to do another claim after being awarded in May for three years but because it's gone out I have to do it all again.0

sorry both of you that I didn't get back sooner my daughter is pregnant and she is having difficulties so I am up and down the hospital with her at the moment0

Hi @mckenzie68. I'm sorry to read about your daughter's difficult pregnancy, I hope she is well at the moment?
It does seem a bit strange that your husband is being reassessed so soon. Normally I'd suggest giving them a call but you've already done that and it hasn't made things any clearer. It could be worth asking to speak to someone more senior?0 -
Thankyou I will try that0

spoke to someone today so they have put it over to the intervention team to look into it and I will hear from them in the next 24 hours1

Hi @mckenzie68, have you heard any more from them?0
