Hi guys
you may have noticed that I’ve just posted that my son has been awarded the standard rate pip. I do have a question though ... currently I receive tax credits for him and I know it changes if your child receives pip (he’s 16 but at sixth form) does anyone know if this will get backdated to the pip claim starting that was back in May ?
I really don’t want to sound cheeky but thought I would ask

Hi,Yes, it's backdated to the start of his PIP award providing you claim within 3 months of the date of the decision to award PIP.0
