Hi, you might get some helpful replies if you post your question in the PIP benefits section. This section is for introductions and welcomes. Hope you dont mind me saying. xxx

Hi @xxspencer75, I've moved your query over to the PIP section of the community. Hopefully some of our members will be able to share their experiences with you.

Thank you so much

Once I sent in my appeal form, it was about a month before they acknowledged it.
-
My local mp sent electoicly and by post will that make any difference do you know plz thank you.

I'm not sure. The courts are so overstretched that I think it's a case of waiting your turn. Mine was about 14 months from putting in the appeal form to going to tribunal. I hope yours isn't that long.
-
I phoned them yesterday and there saying they haven't received my appeal even though my local mp sent it across electronically so I didn't miss the one month dead line HELP
-
When was it sent?
-
It was electronically sent on the 31st of August as dead line was 7th September.
-
Ring again at the beginning of next week to see if it's been received. I wouldn't worry too much because even though it's 1 month you do actually have 13 months with good reason. You sent it on time but they say it's not be received, that's a good enough reason. Do you have proof it was sent?
-
It was my local mp that filled it in and sent it electronically and by post.thank you so much for your replys.

I'd like to say thank you for your help and responses to my questions my pip appeal has now been accepted by the dwp and is on there system.thank you guys.
-
Glad to hear. Just so that you know that the appeal would have been accepted by HMCTS (Tribunal) and not DWP. You can ring HMCTS and ask how long the waiting times are for your area. Do be aware though that the timescales are just a guide but it will give you some idea.

Ok thank you
-
Glad to hear it has all been resolved @xxspencer75. Best of luck with your appeal.
-
@Adrian_Scope thank you.
