I'm sure I've just seen somewhere online saying that PIP can't get backdated. Can anybody help please? ?

Hi, It depends. If you're transferring from DLA then no it's not backdated. If it's a new claim for PIP then yes, it's backdated to the start of your PIP claim. If it's a review of an existing claim then no, it's not backdated. If it's a change of circumstances then it's backdated to the date you rang to report the changes.

I used to get PIP until my claim had to be renewed and they awarded me zero points this time round and stopped my money. Just wondering if my mandatory reconsideration is successful if I will get back pay

Yeah if you were originally on pip and this was stopped as result of a review assessment and your MR is successful then it will be backdated to the date it was stopped. Good luck i hope you are successful.
