Problems with Quingo

I was directed here from my google search who owns Quingo. I've had MS for 18 years and decided in 2018 that i really needed a scooter. I rented a quingo flyte 2, big mistake. Ive had it 18 moths and it has broken down at least 15 times. This has to be one of the worst companies in the UK. Rude unhelpful and money grabbing. I'm trying to find out who owns them or the name of some to write to. i'd appreciate hearing from anyone else who has had problems with quingo or knows any names of people to write to. Thanks Talia

Hi @taliacdf - Welcome to the community & thank you for joining.I've just been trying to look into this for you, & was surprised at this first link: https://www.ageuk.org.uk/products/mobility-and-independence-at-home/quingo-mobility-scooter/ Apparently there had been some pressurised selling previously. However, I checked Companies House as they trade under the name 'Advanced Vehicle Concepts Ltd,' which shows the directors names & their registered office.See: https://beta.companieshouse.gov.uk/company/05300845/officers Graham Reginald Nicholls is listed as the Secretary as well as Director.Unfortunately, a phone number isn't given, so you might want to try Age UK, but I don't know if that info is current; whereas the Companies House info is December 2019 from the files history.Hope this helps, & please do let us know how you get on.
