hi, I applied for pip on 7th feb 2020, how long will it take to hear from them with the virus around?

@katho31 do you have a letter indicating a personal interview/assessment, probably at home these days as stuffy waiting rooms are a nogo? After the assessment, you will get a letter indicating success or otherwise. Only at that stage can you request the written assessment. Their assessors are probably reduced in number these days.

hi guys ....I,m sure the PIP do not now do face to face assessments ...but they can do them by phone or by post.
My Severly autistic grandson ( just turned 16) has been invited ( in february) to apply for PIP. She had a letter saying face to face assessments have been suspended until this virus is over.1 -

I had a letter on 10th February saying they had all the info they needed, Said I would hear within 6 weeks. Not heard anything yet.?1

That's just a standard text and there's no timescales for decisions.

ive done the benefit calculator and am not entitled to universal credit or council tax rebate. just have to wait for dwp to hear about my claim. struggling with just my hubbys small income.0
