Hi
I’ve recently discovered my pip end date is 7th may and I’ve just had a phone assessment and was told I should hear the outcome within 8 weeks
my question is because it’s due to end will it overlap until the decision is made

Hello @SA1966. I believe they've given a 3 month extension to claims due to end in this period which should hopefully cover you until a decision is made. It may be worth getting in touch with them to clarify though.

Thank you so much for you’re advice
yes I’ll contact them
Do I ring DWP or PIP ? -
PIP is a part of the DWP @SA1966. Contact the PIP helpline and just ask them to clarify whether the extension will apply to you as you've had your assessment but the decision won't be back in time.
