Hi all.
I have recently received a lump sum from universal credit regarding my lcwra. It put me over the £6000 limit for universal credit. Do i need to inform them about this?
Thank you!

Hello @Peter1982. Is it that the backdated lump sum from UC combined with savings you have already take you over the £6,000 limit?0

Hello @Peter1982.
The backdated UC should be disregarded as capital for one year/52 weeks. If the backdated LCWRA and your current savings combined are still over £6,000 after a year it will all be counted as savings/capital.
I hope that helps.0 -
Thank you!
