I'm confident the judge won't of changed their mind. Cause I'd expect a face to face or another direction if that was the case and my representative said similar.
Let me know how you get on 😬
I've got my letter today. I've been awarded PIP. Which is great! Hope you have same outcome
You should get a letter from DWP detailing your award and details of payment, they may also call you to ask a few questions eg is your bank account the same, have you had a stay in hospital, then it isnt long till you will get your backdated monry
Well done by the way. Nice to see things happening fast. Its a shame a global pandemic had to make things faster.
Just note that although it states 28 days please be prepared to wait double that for the courts to finalise the decision. I waited the 28 days and then it took another month before the court finalised it.
So at the minute you've got no award but if you and DWP agree or if you agree but DWP don't reply then it gets made into a final decision after 28 days.
I'd email the courts or ring 1 week after the 28 days from the date the letter was posted. The court gives a grace of 7 days late due to postal delays with the current situation.
For me it took 52 days for the provisional decision to be made to final. Then DWP was fast with the payment and paid my backpay after 5 days. This is probably cause they knew they didn't reply but didn't want to reply.
Let us know how it goes for you.
Good luck
