hi everyone, me and my wife have 2 children with cystic fibrosis and we have high rate dla and we're entitled to motability. Ive been banned in the past for totting up points, it does say that I cant get insurance. Is there anyone in the same position or has been in the same position but has managed to obtain insurance?

I was banned for 6 months and it ended 1st April this year. I've been told by the dealer that its only for the likes of drink/drug driving etc but I'm not so sure.0

, even if I get my own insurance.0 -
Sorry to hear this @robbo82, did they offer any suggestions?0

No unfortunately, suppose I'll need to buy my own car if I need to get around if the wife has gone out in the car.0

Fingers crossed for you @robbo82!
