My name is Steph I’m 23, I studied textile design so I love all things textiles. I have 2 lovely tiny dogs and I live with my family who care for me. I have many conditions, bit of a medical mystery. I have late stage neurological Lyme disease and I’m passionate about raising awareness and disability discourse! I have my phone assessment for pip tomorrow morning and I’m (not sure if I can swear here?) bricking it. If I say things in too much detail they’ll say I don’t have cognitive issues and if I keep things short they’ll say I’m not sick. This is an assessment because I got a lot sicker and had to move home to be cared for and now my mobility is affected more. So much anxiety about it, dreading being dismissed but I know it might be fine! Just nervous because my last one years ago was horrible.
Ending on a nice note I also am currently really into passion fruits ????

Hi @stephvslife, and welcome to the community! I'm new here too, so I'm sure we'll start to see each other around. I hope your PIP phone assessment went alright on Saturday?

Passion fruits are great, my Dad grows them in his garden!

I have been in contact with The Brain Charity who has given me lots of advice and guidance regarding PIP and I am sure they will advise you on this. https://www.thebraincharity.org.uk/ I have spoken to Mike and Janet over the last couple of weeks and they have been nothing but supportive and know the score, so to speak.
