Had My Appeal Hearing Today

Hey guys, i Had my telephone hearing this morning for universal credit regarding my ability to work.. Based on the Package that the DWP sent to the Judge and the Doctor and a discussion the doctor and Judge had before the hearing they ruled in my favour, and said that i should be placed in the LCWRA Group, i did not have to answer any questions nor did i need to provide any further evidence, i have waited since Jan 2019 to be proven correct, and i feel that the world has been lifted off my shoulders.... The Fact that the DWP said that pain is not taken into consideration when deciding if anyone should work is Pharisaical, how many people i wonder just take what they say and not go forward with the appeal? Thanks for your support on this everyone...

Hi @Miss_Annmarie
How are you?
I'm not surprised that it feels like a weight off your shoulders, January 2019 was an awful long time ago. Hopefully you get the decision that you want and are entitled to.

Great news and thanks for sharing I had to go to appeal for mine too and I was housebound but as that isnt in the criteria it didnt count to DWP.
But the judge went in my favour0 -
I'm sorry you had to wait so long @miss_annmarie, but I'm so pleased it had a positive outcome.
Well done for sticking with it.0 -
