Had my telephone assessment

Hiya
just wanted to share my story regards to applying for pip this is my first time applying for it, I had my telephone assessment today I was very scared before having it but when I was on the phone I was okay, after the assessment the lady said to me she will write up my report today and it will be sent back to dwp today, so fingers crossed I hear from them soon!

    Hi and welcome you can ring and ask for a copy of your report in about 7 days it wont be the final decision but will show the recommendations from the assessor

    Thanks @chiarieds ...I've been dreading it but at the same time relieved to get it over and done with.
    Same as everyone with this...
    Thanks to this forum though i have every intention of going for an mr if it's not the result i hope for....

    Hi @greenpatts23 - the last few pages of the report will have a black dot in place for each activity or descriptor. Check these against the following link, & you should be able to work out your points for daily living & also for the mobility component.     You're welcome :) - You need 8 or more points for the standard rate, & 12 or more for enhanced rate for each component (daily living and mobility).

    The health assessment providers, details how to complain will be on their website. The assessment reports are nothing to do with DWP.

    Did you add up the recommended points? Usually they go with the report, it's rare to go against it. Once the decision is made if you're not happy then you'll have 1 month to request the MR.
