Would like some help Family member just cancelled carers over the phone today for my wife she still wants to claim it if she rings up can she reopen claim or does she have to apply again online Anybody help

My mum is claiming for carers for my wife she cancelled it because she thought I was going to claim but I'm not so she wanted to start claiming again she only cancelled it few days ago can she ring dwp and reopen claim or does she have to go online and make new claim
