Hi,
My son is due to transfer to junior school at the end of this year. He just got his ehcp placement, which is the local mainstream school. His current school (SRB), EHCP co-ord and I wanted him to go to either of the 2 local special schools - but they didn’t have space.

His EHCP co-ord apologetically suggested we appeal the decision at a tribunal. I just wondered if anyone had gone through this process, and what their experience was like?
many thanks in advance!

Hi @andrewluck12 and welcome to our community. I'm sorry we missed this post the first time round. How are you getting on?
I've just tagged you in @kittypotts thread, in which she asks the same question. Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be many accounts of people's experiences at EHCP tribunal online and so you might find the organisations mentioned useful for advice. That is the Independent Provider of Special Educational Advice (IPSEA) and Contact.
Please let us know how it goes and good luck.0
