Hi yes iam on pip and I do get housing benefit so if I do an apprenticeship in hair dressing will my pip stop or will I be ok

    Hello @ninalees75, welcome to the community :) I hope you are well.

    Your PIP won't be impacted by your apprenticeship, as it isn't means tested. I hope the apprenticeship goes well, when are you hoping to start it?

    Are you getting anything other than PIP and Housing Benefit?

    Very much depends on what you get PIP for but the key thing to remember here is that starting work in itself is not a change of circumstances for PIP and so you don’t even need to contact them. Once you’ve started work you might want to think whether your work shows that you can in fact reliably do some activities for which PIP currently think you can’t. However, before starting work you don’t need to tell DWP anything.
