Pip first payment after backdate payment

Hi all just was wondering I got awarded pip and received backdated payment. The letter says I'm backdated to 6th April which is a Tuesday and that I will be payed every Wednesday. Can I expect my first payment on the Wednesday 5th of May? Thanks for your time guys

Hello and welcome, what you have read is correct your paid the PIP benefits every 4 weeks so as there are 13 four weeks in a year you will get two PIP payments in one month a year the same goes for ESA and the State Pension payments.0
