When do I get my LCWRA backdated to?

When do I get my lcwra backdated to. Been on UC for 4 years sent a sick note in January 2020 dated 14th January.won my tribunal 24th this month and won appeal to go in lcwra group. On the UC papers sent to the tribunal they said my first sick note was April 2019 but I know it wasn't. That was for something else and not what I had my wca for..

I’m confused. You say that your first Fit Note was not April 2019 as if you didn’t provide one and then you say that it was for something else as if there was one.

Were there Fit Notes between April 2019 and January 2020?

if we take the notification of your health problems as January 2020 then the LCWRA element will be payable from May or June 2020 depending on the days covered by your assessment period.

The sick note in April 2019 was for a shoulder injury. I didn't ask for an assessment.my doctor said I'm not to do any work. I was given a sick note in January 2020 for depression, anxiety and other problems I don't wish to go in to. I was given a uc50 form in July 2020 for a wca for the problems relating to the sick note for January 2020. What I am saying is in my appeal bundle the dwp said my first sick note provided was April 2019..

I wasn’t asking you to explain what the Fit Notes were for and quite understand why you might not wish to do that. Just wanted to clarify if they were continuous or not. Am now clear.
So logically your LCWRA element will be payable from about May 2020 depending on the date you reported the condition and the dates of your assessment periods..

I reported it in December 2019 and gave my first sick note 14th January. My assessment was October 2020 and I got put in an lcw group, did the mandatory reconsideration then appealed. I won my appeal the 24th this month.

I don't understand what you mean. I didn't know there was an assessment period. All I know is my advisor at DSS changed my commitments when dwp got my first sick note in January 2020..I had to keep on at them for a uc50 which I eventually got in July 2020. I wasn't informed of an assessment period.

You mean my UC payment assessment.its from the 17th to the 16th if each month

So, if DWP take 14th January as the date you provided evidence of your health condition, the three waiting periods will be Jan to Feb, Feb to March and March to April. You would be entitled to the LCWRA element for the April to May assessment period (paid on 23rd May) and from then on.

Yes 2020 as it was January 2020 that you provided the evidence.
