I've been awarded disability premium. Will I get the premium when my son turns 18 and claims UC?

Hi ...I was just awarded disability premium off esa but was told that it will stop when my son turns 18...in September..he is in process of claiming universal credit..Will I get my disability premium when he does?

If you are referring to the Severe Disability Premium then you will stop getting this when your son turns 18 unless he also receives a disability benefit. UC is not a disability benefit.0
