Hi @Gary1964 - & welcome to the community. May I suggest you have a look at the following link about the activities/descriptors that are looked at for PIP. If you then feel you might get sufficient points for the mobility component that may give you an award, then you're in a position to know whether it would be worth appealing. Please see: https://www.cambridgeshire.gov.uk/asset-library/Personal-Independence-Payment-Descriptors-and-Scores-April-2021.pdfPlease read the notes at the end, as you also need to be able to do an activity 'reliably' i.e. safely, to an acceptable standard, as often as you'd like, & in a reasonable period of time.0

Hi @Gary1964 - there has indeed been a change in PIP law about the 'Planning & following a journey' descriptor in the mobility component of PIP, but only if a claimant was perceived to suffer 'overwhelming psychological distress.' See: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/personal-independence-payment-changes/overwhelming-psychological-distress-and-journeys-changes-to-pip-law-from-28-november-20160
