ESA Assessment Query

Hello, I have my ESA assessment coming up. I currently receive PIP enhanced for both mobility and daily living. I was awarded a 10 year award about 3 years ago with a light touch at the end of it. I appreciate I can be assessed at any time for this.

Considering my situation, do you think the ESA assessors will look at my claim and go ahead with the assessment given my situation?

Not sure if they share info?

PIP and ESA are two completely different purposes, look at it this way you can be working full time and successfully claiming PIP.

The answer is the same though. There two different benefits, two different descriptors and therefore two different assessments. 

Edit:. Just to point out, my response was in reply to OPs response above, which has now been edited, so doesn’t say what it said when I replied.

I guess the answer is "case by case basis" and common sense doesn't prevail. They don't share info and even if you are severely disabled you'll still get an assessment.

Exactly. Each assessment is assessing different things.

The joining 8f assessments has been talked about for a long time now but as yet nothing has happened and doubt it will anytime soon
