I've just informed UC about my PIP award success. Will my UC/LCWRA payments be affected?

I'm so sorry to keep asking questions, but I'm in receipt of lwrca through universal credit, I have informed them about my pip decision, just wanted to know if the pip payments will effect the payments I get through uc.

If you are a single claimant with no other adults living with you, then it will not affect your payments.
If you have a partner they could now claim the carer element.
If you have non dependants who have been expected to make housing cost contributions they will no longer be expected to.Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Rules may be different in other parts of UK. -
Hi @Popdiva43
No need to apologise, ask all the questions you need. I find it a confusing system and would be exactly the same! This Turn2Us webpage about 'Other help for people getting PIP' outlines more information around what PIP entitles you to.
Also, I've tweaked your thread title (we love a title tweak!) to help others know what your question is about Take care.Online Community Co-ordinator
