Hi all 2 weeks ago I rang DWP to see how my claim was doing anyway the woman said they had just had my assessment report that morning from capital.ok thought, anyway rang this morning to ask if I could have a copy of the report, chap on the phone said we hadn't had it yet ? So i explained what the woman had said on my last phone call have you had the assessment yet I said yes it was a paper one did it last 45 mins I said no well in that case you haven't had the assessment. He told me to ring capita up so I did ho and he said he they could be waiting for a GPR .Anyway rang up capita yes I have had a paper assessment no they are not waiting for a GPR they had enough evidence with the reports I sent in with the claim.it should be long now as it was worked on last week. I am sure I put my mobile no. On the claim form as I have read that people get text messages anyway they now have my mobile number, I have had so much different information. So hopefully it should not take much longer mind you I am not getting my hopes up still might take 8 weeks no point in worrying you get the dission when you get it. Started the process late March

Hello @karen1812
Blimey, sounds as though you've been hearing lots of conflicting information, it must be quite confusing and inconvenient. I hope it won't be much longer now for you and best of luck.0 -
Hi and welcome to the community
Your claim has been dealt with very quickly in current situation
Dwp are advising that the process can take up to 10 months currently
As you have had a paper based assessment this will have made it quicker
You will still have to wait for the decision which is advised to be around 8 weeks though there are no fixed timescales0
