Will 1 advance payment from Universal Credit be deducted from PIP arrears?

Recently I had an advance payment of UC (around £400) to tide me over until my ESA assessment is undertaken. I am fine with the arrangement of having £20 deducted from a monthly UC/ESA as part of this advance.
Now I have been awarded PIP with arrears to come. However, is this £400 considered 'debt' and as such it will be paid off from within what arrears I am due to receive before I receive it?
