Decision made about MR today. If I'm successful, how long would it take for the money to come in?

I requested a MR about 6 weeks ago now and it has apparently been made the decision today and to wait for a letter, if I did receive the award do you know how long it would take for it to come into my bank account if the decision was made today? I know usually you get money before the letter so wanting an idea if I can find out if I have received it or not before the letter comes. Also they phoned me today and I missed it as was not expecting a phone call, this was before I phoned them asking them why they had phoned me but apparently it could of been due to clarifying something, they didn't disclose to me why they phoned me earlier as it just said on the notes that they wanted to phone me about my MR, could this have effected my decision because I didn't answer the phone today also?

Payment, if applicable, may arrive before the letter but not always.Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Rules may be different in other parts of UK.

Hi there
Not answering the phone will not affect the decision if they needed more information to make the decision they would call back
