hi I recently got told that I might be entitled to p.i.p mobility at an enhanced rate as i scored 10 points on mobility in 2016, and there was a new law introduced, i am currently on both the standard rates, i am housebound and suffer from agrophobia amoungst other illnesses is there any truth in this? any answers would be appreciated thank you.

HI,Did you score the points in descriptor E. Cannot undertake any journey because it would cause overwhelming psychological distress to the claimant? If you scored here because you're unable to go out at all then this will be the correct award.I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying. If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.

@poppy123456 'yes scored 10 points and it said Cannot undertake any journey because it would cause overwhelming psychological distress does this mean I'm entitled to enhanced or does it just mean the standard is awarded? thanks so much for your reply.

If at the time of the assessment you couldn't undertake any journey then the standard rate of mobility is the correct award. Descriptor f would be 12 points and Enhanced but this doesn't apply to you.
