I have crohn's disease and just in the middle of starting treatment just wanted to know if any one is on benefits at the moment i am on income based jobseekers if you have crohns can you stay on income based jobseekers or do you need to go over on to universal credit i have alot of hospital appointments at the moment which i can not keep to my jobseeker agreement many thanks

If you are not well enough to look for work you can have work search requirements suspended temporarily for a maximum of 13 weeks. If you expect to be unable to seek work for longer than this you will be expected to claim UC.0
