hello.. I made a claim for pip back in April last year and due to how assessment could be done for me due to covid it went to tribunal and was awarded it last month.. I've not yet received any payment but will payment be from when I won the tribunal or from the time I made the claim last year. thanks

    Hi,

    If it's a first time PIP claim and you didn't transfer from DLA then it's backdated to the date you first rang to start your claim, providing at that time you had the condition for at least 3 months.
    I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying.
