Friend applied for DLA for her son. They've asked either consultant or Dr for more info. Which one?

Hi asking for a bit of information for my friend. She applied for dla for her young son who was in a serious RTA. She applied in March & rang then the other day. They said they’ve sent of to either her doctor or hospital consultant for more information. she’s not to sure which one. Would anyone no which of them they would contact?

We would have no idea which one it could be. She can contact the Doctor to ask and if it's not them it will be the Consultant.
