Why can't Social Services work together

I don't understand why Adult Services can't work with Children's Services when the family needs help?

    In government guidelines, they should, but if they don't complain and get some evidence that supports your case

    Thank you, I will look at the guidelines, I have been trying for 6 years to get us help , as I'm disabled and my kid is disabled and all they seem to do is pass the buck between the two departments

    Yes, it can be frustrating when it doesn't feel as though services are joining up. Have you referred yourself for a needs assessment? What kind of support are you hoping to receive?
