Good Morning
I stopped myself from speaking to my mum and dad and my eldest sister Jade at present. I'm still not talking to my boss although she did text me but I shut her out. I can talk to others but I wasn't sure as I'm pessimistic and lonely yet bitter. I can't just be friends with anyone not realising if they are concealing their true colours like sociopaths, psychopaths and social manipulators do due to my naivety. Why? Because I wasn't aware and realistic.
It's just that I have a lot of friends due to the fact that I'm popular.
I'm an autistic adult and I'm 29 years old I don't want to carry on being pessimistic because my parents, sister and the people I care worry about me Why? Because they all want me to be happy and that's the point. I want to do something about it to make myself happy.
What must I do?

Hi @chloeknight16071992
Do you mind me asking why you've stopped talking to your mum, dad, sister, and boss? Is it because you're worried that they're concealing their 'true colours', and might not be very nice?I want to do something about it to make myself happy. What must I do?What do you think of when you think about being happy in terms of the relationships you have with other people? Is it that you want lots of friends, or to be closer to your family members, or to have a few close friends, or something else entirely? -
I stopped talking to them because they told me off for my recent pessimistic rude behaviour and they didn't care about me. They were worried about me.
I think I need to spend my time with my friends and family relatives is because I missed them badly. -
Spending some time with them sounds like a good idea @chloeknight16071992 I'm sorry that they told you off, but I hope that you'll be able to make things up with them. Are you still going into work?
