So applied in March got assessment on August 17th text next day that they had assessment.
Had report seems fair
Rang them yesterday nearly 3 weeks after nothing yet as not looked at ut but with a decision maker.
Just had a care act assessment done and I will need carers as mate won't be able to help from October 
Worried although not got 23 000 in bank no where near I wish lol
That I will have ti pay towards the carers so waiting for pip is doing my head in
Really trying hard but also I wanna know why is it some folk get it quicker surely it should be first come first Served?

    From the assessment being done to getting a decision usually takes around 8 weeks at present. I'm not sure how the financial assessment works for carers. I do know that the £23,000 allowed is for residential care.

    Guess will have to see as on universal credit with lcwra so until I hear about pip that's what I got

    If your PIP is a first time application and you get an award it will be back-dated to March.

    I applied in February and still not heard anything to even have an assessment yet. It's been 28 weeks so far. You should get an answer soon xx good luck
