Hi I receive lcwra I was wondering if my 18 year old daughter can claim carers for looking after me she is currently claiming UC thank you for any feedback

HI,For your daughter to be able to claim the carers element of UC then you must be claiming a disability benefit such as PIP daily living or DLA mid/high rate care. See link.. the same rules apply to carers allowance and carers element of UC. https://www.citizensadvice.org.uk/benefits/sick-or-disabled-people-and-carers/carers-allowance/
