Hi guys,
Ive claimed pip now for many years. 6 years ago my claim went to court and i won. 4 years ago my pip was stopped and then re awarded to me before it even made court. My pip renewal was the start of this year. This time my daily living been completely stopped by 2 points but i have the ehanced rate of mobility. I have appealed it for a mandatory reconsideration. The problem i had they did the renewal when we was in a lockdown so i didn't think to send certain evidence etc, i have now sent this. Yesterday i got a very random call from pip the lady said my claim was about be looked at again and she was calling me in case i wanted to inform her of anything before the claim was looked at again. I am not good with things like this on my own has i am deaf and struggle bad with my anxiety from my epilepsy. Has the call went on the lady started questioning me why i wasnt capable of doing medications myself etc, i have dosette boxes and everything is delivered, i felt so backed into a corner i just cried on the phone. Her attitude changed then and apologised, said it must feel like im always fighting pip, told me not to worry and my i will hear from them by next week.
Thing is i am worrying now has she was so demanding and the fact she made me cry. I dont dares ring in fear of them saying its still been denied.
She never questioned me about the other areas i was disputing ie financial decisons and cooking (these i did provide evidence ).
So now i just feel on edged and in limbo.
Has anyone had the same experience?

HI,I'm sorry the call made you feel this way but it's perfectly understandable when you're not expecting it. It sounds like it was a decision maker that rang you. They do sometimes ring people when your claim is being looked at again like this. When i had my first review some years ago i was called by a decision maker (not for a MR) before they made the decision.I know it's difficult but try not to worry too much and hopefully you'll recieve the decision very soon and it will be good news. Do let us know the outcome. Good luck.0
