We are trying to secure an Ehcp as my son is due to start secondary school next year but we have been declined twice.
They admit he has SEN needs but doesn’t need an assessment ?

Welcome to the community from me too @savfam :) I can imagine that's exhausting! Regarding the EHCP, have you contacted IPSEA or your local SENDIASS? The National Autistic Society also have some useful information and advice on EHCPs, which you may find helpful.

Some colleagues at Scope also have an opportunity relating to EHCPs at the moment, which you might like to take a look at.
