So my friend is currently suspended but getting paid every Friday from his employer - he's commited gross misconduct, he said is he entitled to UC? I said no because your getting a wage off them while your suspended. anyone correct me if I'm wrong. Regards

It totally depends on their circumstances. It would be impossible to answer that question without more information. Your friend should get some advice from an advice agency near them.

UC is based on finances - whether or not he is entitled depends on his household finances. Many UC claimants are in work and receiving wages.thinkingsoul said:So my friend is currently suspended but getting paid every Friday from his employer - he's commited gross misconduct, he said is he entitled to UC?
