New SEND mentoring project in Crawley, Horsham & Mid-Sussex
Y Impact provides a safe, fun and informal environment to support young people in one-to-one and group sessions.
Sessions aim to help young people to:
- Tackle isolation and make new friends
- Engage in the wider community
- Improve communication and other life skills
- Develop more positive relationships with people at school or college and at home
Our friendly, qualified and experienced adult mentors specialise in supporting young people with disabilities to grow in confidence and personal aspiration.
We run both online and in-person sessions providing a safe space for young people who need a bit of extra help and encouragement. Our group sessions give young people the chance to talk to others with similar experiences, take part in fun activities and build friendships with others.
