PS i know theres only supposed to be backdated payments to claimants who have suffered from changes to there their conditions.

Hi,If you are awarded a higher award then payments will not be backdated unless you rang to report a wosening of condition. Payments will start from the date the decision was made.Timescales are approximately 10 months. Most people are having telephone assessments so expect one of those, only few people have face to face assessments at the moment.0

That will be regarding the changes to following and planning a journey from 2017, which doesn't apply to everyone. Sometimes when you read things on the internet, all may not be quite as it seems. https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/pip-administrative-exercise-progress-on-cases-cleared-at-17-january-2021/pip-administrative-exercise-progress-on-cases-cleared-at-17-january-2021
