Had my PIP Assessment. Less than 1 hour after, I got a text message saying they had report

Had my pip asst this morning less then an hour after my 90 minute assessment I received a text msg saying they have my report and I will get a decision within 8 weeks.

It's perfectly normal for them to returned the report this quick. Once it's completed, there's no reason for them to hold onto it. Timescales are more like 2-12 weeks, sometimes longer because backlogs are so huge.

Thank you time will tell I don’t feel confident or anxious as the assessment was very much a matter of fact and set of questions gave me no indication.0

How bizarre had assessment 3 weeks ago had text on the day to see they have received report and today got letter to say they have all the info they need to make a decision ? Does that mean I will hear soon?0

It means you can still waiting between 2-12 weeks for a decision. It's a standard letter you received and quite pointless in my opinion, all it causes is more anxiety.

Update got 1865 paid into my account today saying dwp pip so I must have been awarded it awaiting paperwork relieved and best Xmas present this site has really helped me thank you2
