Hi,

There's a guide here to register as self employed. https://www.simplybusiness.co.uk/knowledge/articles/2021/09/how-to-set-up-as-self-employed-with-hmrc-uk/

Can i ask what you mean by this?

When claiming UC and LCWRA you can work, there's no limits to the hours you can work. You will have the work allowance, which will mean you can earn a certain amount of money each month before the deductions apply. See link. Please note that the work allowance is increasing from 1st December 2021.

Do be aware that if the work you do contradicts the reasons why you're claiming LCWRA then you could be reassessed early and the decision could go against you.

If you start working then you will need to report the chamges onto your journal. As self employed you will need to report your earnings and expences onto your journal at the end of your assessment period.
